Kick off the spookiest month of the year with horror classic Frankenstein at the Aztec Shawnee Theater! One of the films to kick off Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters series in 1931, the plot follows Dr. Frankenstein who dares to tamper with life and death by creating a human monster out of lifeless body parts. The film, based on 1818 novel by Mary Shelley, released to both rave reviews and multi-state censorships, including Kansas – who only saw an edited version at the time!
